The Oak Hill Amateur Radio Club is now offering in person testing in Central Austin thru W5YI. We file all your paperwork electronically allowing you to get licensed quicker than any other testing site in Travis county. Follow the 3 easy steps below to make sure you have a spot reserved in our next testing session.
Step 1 – Register Online
Walk-ins are not accepted for testing so make sure you register online.
Refunds will not be given to applicants who do not appear for their exam.
Step 2 – Make Payment
Due to Library policies we are NOT able to accept payment the day of testing in the library. Making a payment online is the only guarantee you will have a spot reserved in our testing session.
Our club accepts payments using the Zelle platform built into the banking app you already use. To pay for your testing session send $14.00 to:
ve-team@n5oak.org
Please put your Callsign or FRN number in the memo field.
Not Familiar With Zelle?
Zelle® is already in over one thousand banking apps. To find out if Zelle® is in yours, search the official list for the bank or credit union where you already have a bank account. If you already have Zelle® in your banking app, GREAT! Follow the steps to enroll and start sending and receiving money. If you don’t, no worries! You can still get in on this awesome way to send money by downloading the zelle® app for Android and iOS.
Step 3 – Show Up
Arrive at the Austin Public Library 15 minutes prior to testing with all your required documents.
Testing times will be listed when you sign up and in confirmation emails.
